Do I need a follow up appointment?
We love getting you to the point where you don't need to come back! Usually, most issues we see will need more than 1 appointment to achieve this. Our aim is to get you feeling as best you can for the long-term and this usually involves creating change over a period of time. Your osteopath will ask what your health goals are and work with you to create a management plan to achieve these. Our goal is to support your body's natural ability to heal and share self-management tools to help speed up the recovery process.
What to do after my appointment?
It is best to give your body some space after your appointment to allow the changes we have made to settle. Make sure you hydrate too! Try to avoid excessive/vigorous activities. Your osteopath will advise you on what to do on the day depending on your issue.
Do I need to do my prescribed exercises?
Yes! 100 x yes! Creating long-term change takes a whole-body, whole-life approach. Our exercises focus on continuing the treatment between visits and enable you to improve your overall strength and mobility.
Where can I park?
Parking is available on the street out the front of the building or alternatively under the building. It is free of charge and has a 2 hour time limit. There is ramp access available from the Commercial rd side of the building.
Is there a Cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us a call as soon as possible on 0493687206. Unfortunately, cancellations really hurt our business and take up valuable time we could be offering to others who need to access the care. There is a $50 fee for late cancellation (less than 24 hours before you scheduled appointment) and a full consultation fee for non-attendance.
Do I need to undress for my appointment?
No. If you are more comfortable remaining clothed, that is totally okay! We also have gowns available. Please make sure you wear stretchy or loose fitting clothes to your appointment. Try to avoid wearing jeans!
